Kid’s Craft – Cotton Swab Skeleton

To continue our Halloween craft series, following on from apple stamp Jack o’ Lanterns, this week we’ve been making cotton swab skeletons!

You will need cotton swabs, black card, scissors, glue, white paper and a black felt-tipped pen.

Cut the white paper into a skull shape and stick on the card. Draw on a face.

Glue one cotton swab below the skull as a spine.

Stick one cotton swab below the spine as a pelvis and cut 3 more to stick on either side as ribs.

Stick one cotton swab on either side of the top of the ribs as upper arms.

Stick a second cotton swab to either side as lower arms.

Stick two more cotton swabs as thigh bones from slightly inside the pelvis.

Use two more cotton swabs to complete the legs. Trim to the paper size as needed.

Trim five more cotton swabs to shorter sticks and use each end as a finger.

This craft requires adult assistance or supervision.
